Two BMX riders from different sides of the globe fall in love and take on the world. A single training accident takes everything they have known away from them. Sam can no longer walk, Alise no longer wants to ride, together they help each other become World Champions again.
This time as rider and coach.
RIDE strives to be more than a sport documentary – Sam and Alise want to help make a difference for those that suffer spinal injuries and live with a disability, shine a light on the physical and mental challenges after traumatic injuries and change the conversation and approach in our communities that enables people with disabilities to gain confidence, fulfil their potential and achieve their dreams.
The documentary which is being co-produced by Sam and Alise, also aims to empower young people with this story of overcoming hardship and challenges, however big or small they are and provide inspiration for all people, but especially the next generation.
You can donate (donations are tax deductible) to help us bring this to life via the Documentary Australia Foundation at RIDE | Documentary Australia Foundation
